Charlie joined L3 GCS as its President in March 2017 following
his role as Vice President/General Manager of the Special
Operations Forces (SOF) Division at DRS Technologies, where he
worked for almost 10 years. Prior to that, Charlie held the
position of Special Projects/Business Development Lead for SPAWAR
Tampa for five years. He also supported the United Nations
(UN) Peace Keeping Mission in Angola, providing vital satellite
communications throughout the country, and reach back to the UN
Headquarters in New York. He retired from the military after 20
years, of which the majority of time was in Special Operations at
Ft. Bragg, NC.
At L3 GCS, Charlie is responsible for executing the strategic
growth plan, drawing on his extensive satellite communications
(SATCOM) industry experience and ensuring GCS provides the best
products to all the warfighters in the field.
Charlie holds a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the
New York Institute of Technology and over 35 years of
satellite and communications experience.
Vice President of Finance/Division CFO
Cammie joined L3 GCS in 2006. Prior to L3, she worked at
Elo TouchSystems, a subsidiary of Tyco Electronics, in various
accounting roles. Cammie was promoted to Finance Manager, then
Controller in 2008 and most recently to Vice President of
Finance/Division CFO in 2011.
Cammie is responsible for management of all Finance and
Information Technology functions. She holds her BS in
Accounting from St. John Fisher College.
Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Tony joined Global Communications Solutions (GCS) in 1997.
He formed and led the engineering department until his appointment
to Chief Technology Officer in 2007. Prior to L3, Tony worked
for Harris RF Communications in design and development
Tony holds a MSEE from the Rochester Institute of Technology and
a BSEE from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Vice President of Operations
Eric joined L3 GCS as the VP, Operations in 2015. Prior to
joining L3, he worked 18 years for Anaren Microwave as the Process
Engineering Manager, Wireless Group GM, VP of Quality Systems, and
finally VP of Operations. Prior to that Eric worked for 10
years at Teradyne Connection Systems as a Manufacturing Engineer,
Supplier Development Engineer, and a Work Center Manager.
Eric holds a BET in Manufacturing Engineering from the Rochester
Institute of Technology.
Vice President of Engineering
Roger joined L3 GCS as Vice President of Engineering in 2012.
Prior to L3, he worked for ND SatCom, Inc. as Vice President
of Engineering. Roger's previous appointments include Vice
President and General Manager roles at Vertex Communications,
Tripoint Global Communications and GD SATCOM Technologies. Roger
has over 30 years experience in the SATCOM industry.
Roger holds Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
degrees from Texas A&M University.
Vice President of Sales
Bill joined L3 GCS as Vice President of Sales in July 2017.
Prior to L3, he worked for Safran Vectronix in Arlington, Virginia
as Vice President of Business Development and Sales. Bill has over
30 years of experience in the defense and federal acquisition
Bill holds a BEME degree from SUNY Stonybrook and a MBA from
Long Island University, CW Post.
Vice President of Program Management
Pete joined L3 GCS as the Director of Programs in 2012.
Prior to L3, Pete held a variety of management positions with
Exelis, Inc. (formerly ITT Defense/Kodak Government Systems) most
recently as Senior Program Portfolio Manager. Pete also has
worked in various software and systems engineering roles at
Lockheed-Martin Company. In 2016, he was promoted to Vice President
of Programs responsible for ensuring the success of all program
Pete holds a MBA from Chapman University and a BSEE from
Director of Human Resources/Ethics Officer
Jessica joined L3 GCS as a Human Resources Manager in
2012. Prior to L3, she worked as the Human Resources Manager
for L3 3Di. Jessica was promoted to HR Manager and Ethics
officer in 2015 and took on the responsibility of the overall HR
function. In 2016, Jessica was promoted to Director of Human
Jessica is responsible for all HR functions including
organizational development, training, employee relations,
compliance activities and recruiting.
She holds her BS in Anthropology from the State University of New
York at Geneseo. Jessica also holds a Senior Professional in
Human Resources certificate (SPHR).
Director of Contracts & Supply Chain
Gardner joined L3 GCS as a Procurement Manager in 2013.
Prior to L3, he worked for Corning Incorporated in various
Global Supply Chain Management roles.
In 2015, Gardner was promoted to Director, Contracts for L3 GCS,
assuming responsibility for the execution of all contracts and
sub-contracts as well as the role of Empowered Official for the
division. In 2016, he re-assumed management for the Supply
Chain in addition to his currently responsibilities.
Gardner holds a BS in Economics from the United States Naval
Academy and served five years of active duty as a Surface
